School Day at CCA Middle School

Doors Open: 7:30 a.m.
Classes start: 8:20 a.m.
Regular School Day: 8:20 a.m. - 3:35 p.m.
Wednesdays/Early Out: 8:20 a.m. - 1:35 p.m. The two hour early dismissal allows teachers time to collaborate district wide to review student performance data and achievement and teacher professional development.

Supervision Hours

The safety of our children at Clear Creek Amana is our highest priority. We officially have staff on duty at the middle school on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 7:35 am until 3:45 pm. There is supervision both inside the school and at the entrances. On Wednesdays we have staff on supervision from 7:35 am until 1:45 pm. We do allow students to remain in our cafeteria area during other times but please know that there is not an school official on duty supervising. We stress to our students that they will be trusted and given freedoms to be in the cafeteria unsupervised but failure to behave in a respectful manner will likely eliminate this privilege. 

Before and After School Parent Expectations

Many of our students are involved in activities both before and after school. Please have a conversation with your child about your expectations of them during this time. Please make it clear to them if they are allowed to leave the middle school campus to go to the park, convenience store, etc. This is not something our middle school regulates as we have many students coming and going both before and after school. If your child is allowed to leave the campus before or after school it's highly suggested that they cross the street at the corner of West Marengo Road (Highway 6) and Ireland Avenue.
